Starting with a table in Excel, I use the HTML VizCreator custom visual to bring it into Power BI Desktop. With a touch of DAX magic, the table becomes fully dynamic, powered by the data in Power BI.

This session is quite code-heavy and technical. We'll use postman, VS code etc. to build a small Embedded solution.

Delivered by two experts—a Power BI pro and a Tableau pro—this talk breaks down the differences, clears up misconceptions, and shows what Tableau can (and cannot) do from a Power BI perspective.

We explore some common questions Power BI users typically ask when looking at Tableau for the first time:
“There’s no Power Query—so how do I clean or shape my data?”
“There’s no DAX—so how do I create calculations?”
