Microservices: Spring vs Dapr vs Istio
Java frameworks like Spring provide support for microservices features such as tracing, metrics, or resilience. Service meshes like Istio provide these features as part of the infrastructure - and Dapr supports developers with many other features. This talk compares the three approaches and show their strength and weaknesses by using a common example that is available on GitHub. This helps developers to choose the approach that best supports them.
