This is an on-stage retro of a live project. Moderated by Balazs Horvath, VisualLabs' founder, with our lead architect on one side and GSD’s CEO on the other, and the question is how AI is redrawing the line between consultant and customer.

GSD, an agriculture company and an existing client, trusted VisualLabs to try something new when their Business Central implementation started in August: we gave their junior tech team the same Claude skills and working methods our senior developers use. After the first Month, they’re building their own Business Central data schema and porting their HTML mockups onto it. The client has moved from subject matter expert to a build role inside our delivery team.

We’ll go through what worked, what didn’t, and what surprised both sides. The project is still underway. We’ll take the obvious question head on: if the client can build, what is the partners job?
