What's new in webUI? The workshop!
How do you create UI elements that are controllable, accessible, and styleable? What about performance?
With the work being done at Open UI, we are introducing many new web standards, including popovers, invokers, customizable select elements, and more. In this workshop, I will guide you through how to achieve easy wins by relying on web standards, while also providing some background on Open UI. This workshop is packed with practical examples and some over-the-top eye-candy to back it up.
With the help of some new CSS features, such as anchoring, @starting-style, and interpolate-size, we get some really practical examples and a look into the (near) future as well.
By the end of this workshop, you will know new HTML and CSS standards, with sometimes a touch of JS, giving you practical wins for your current and next projects.
This workshop can be given in different time slots, but preferred in a good hands-on experience; Talk to me about the time slot and content. It can be tailored to expectations.
