Workshop: Azure Networking Essentials for Developers

Networking can feel mysterious if you usually focus on writing code. This workshop will help you understand how your applications actually connect inside Azure and how to keep that connection secure.
You’ll learn how to set up and use virtual networks, control which resources can talk to each other, and give your apps private access to data services like databases or storage accounts. We’ll also look at safe ways to connect into your own Azure environment using tools such as Azure Bastion or VPN, and how to test and troubleshoot when something doesn’t work as expected.
By the end, you’ll understand the key networking concepts every developer should know in Azure and have hands-on experience building and testing them yourself.
You will learn how to:
• Create and understand Azure virtual networks and subnets
• Control traffic between resources securely
• Give applications private access to data services
• Connect to your Azure environment safely for testing and debugging
• Use built-in tools to check and fix connectivity issues
