Disorganized Noize: Data Therapy

Good data is necessary for any business to remain relevant and profitable. One would assume that more data means more profitability. Right? Unfortunately, it does until it doesn’t. Once data has outlived its usefulness, it’s considered ROT and should be deleted because it’s now costing you more money than it’s worth. Letting go of data is hard, so it’s okay to be a bit anxious about deleting anything, but if you’re holding onto data, then let’s discuss and create an action plan to purge ROT so you can better utilize your AI, BI and automation tools.

Dataverse: Everything, Everywhere, Here and There

Are you building Power Platform solutions, and still storing your data in SQL Server, SharePoint Online, and/ or Excel? If so, then you may need to reevaluate and consider Microsoft Dataverse, the native data solution of the Power Platform. For many of your low-code initiatives, Dataverse is likely a better data storage offering. Designed to be a secure, low-code solution, Microsoft built Dataverse to help organizations increase their return on investment (ROI), better scale their in-house applications, and promote rapid innovation, even leveraging Microsoft Copilot. Let’s deep dive into Microsoft Dataverse and explore jumpstarting your team's productivity.

.NET MAUI: One (Codebase) for All (Apps)

Once upon a time, the Android, iOS, and Windows apps lived in harmony but independently. Because of this domain separation, dedicated dev teams were necessary for each native app that an organization wanted to bring to market, essentially doubling, if not tripling, their budgets for prototyping, developing, testing, and maintaining their apps. Seeking to address these skyrocketing costs, dev teams scoured the lands for cross-platform solutions. Microsoft, wanting to unite the apps, created .NET MAUI, their modern framework offering to build native Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android apps from a single, shared codebase. Join me as we chronicle .NET MAUI’s ability to save resources, time, effort, and money for all…

Power Apps: King of the Business Solutions

Low-code is holding its own against, if not edging out pro-code and no-code development for modern, scalable, enterprise solutions. Power Apps, the Power Platform SaaS offering to design and build custom business applications, is a suite of services and connectors facilitating rapid, feature-rich development. In this session, we’ll cover how Power Apps empowers non-devs, welcomes pro-devs, reduces infrastructure costs, tackles project backlogs, drives innovation, and democratizes technology.
