Session
Saving PowerShell Notebooks
PowerShell Notebooks are great! We use PowerShell Notebooks for lot of things and we already had multiple sessions about Notebooks at PSConfEU in the past. There is just one little problem with them.
Microsoft have deprecated the Polyglot Notebooks VS Code extension and the underlying dotnet-interactive engine on March 27th, 2026.
Luckily for us: a small group of previous users and a couple of Microsoft employees have formed a project together (independent from Microsoft) to save Polyglot Notebooks. This session is about their quest and the first ever public session about the future of PowerShell Notebooks as we know them.
If you are interested to learn more about what is the current state of PowerShell Notebooks and when could you maybe start using them again then this session is for you.
