Azure Monitor - From MMA to AMA in just a few steps

One stable solution in the past was the Microsoft Monitoring Agent (MMA) for Monitoring Server and workloads to centralize logging to Azure Monitor. And the agent was also an important foundation for the use of Defender for Cloud. The Azure Monitor Agent takes the place of the MMA this year because the MMA is on a deprecation path and planned to be discontinued after August 2024.
In this session, we'll dive into the benefits of the new AMA, what things you need to consider when migrating to AMA, why the new data collection rules are a great way to simplify management, where AMA is headed in conjunction with Defender for Cloud, and why Azure Arc and AMA are co-hosting at the Monitor Party.
Let get start the AMA party.
