Connecting the front-end and back-end could be challenging. It could be complex to track all the endpoints and their respective changes, write queries with various methods to REST API. GraphQL solves this by exposing only one endpoint and schema. It gives the whole technical team the ability to understand what's happening. In this workshop, I will show how to set up a fully working back-end application in an event-driven serverless way using AWS CDK and AppSync, offering the full power of the managed GraphQL server with Lambda functions and template resolvers.
