Agentic Power Apps: The Art of Possible for Makers in 2026

Power Apps have traditionally been about forms over data, with users interacting directly with applications to get work done. With the introduction of agentic capabilities, that model is changing. App capabilities can now be made available to agents, which significantly changes and expands what’s possible for makers designing and building model-driven apps.

In this session, we’ll unpack this shift so you leave with a clear understanding of what it really means for agents to use app capabilities. You’ll learn how to think differently about app design, and how these new patterns enable more valuable, forward-looking business applications and business process automation.

Starting with a familiar model-driven app, we’ll explore the art of the possible through agent-assisted form completion, data insights and reporting, and human-agent collaboration. You'll learn about new ways to automate data entry and processes, and how apps can become the central hub for managing collaborative AI workflows. We'll challenge traditional approaches to search, reporting and insights, and explore how apps can share context with productivity tools and business data.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear way of thinking about what "agentic Power Apps" actually means, what’s possible today, and how these capabilities open up entirely new ways to design intelligent, highly productive app experiences.
