Just directly from the trenches, but does Microsoft DSC deserve a place in your toolbox next to Ansible, Terraform, Intune, or that pile of scripts you still have lying around? And everyone knows the honest answer: it depends. That's, however, the whole point. Drawing on insights from inside the DSC working group and lessons learned from the field, we'll debate where DSC genuinely shines within Microsoft's ecosystem, where you're better off with what you already have, and how Microsoft actually positions it, including its quiet role inside WinGet configuration (or maybe even others).
