When I first dipped my toes into roles that involved working with Microsoft Azure, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my automation skills transferred over quite easily. Historically my PowerShell scripts and modules ran on Windows Server as scheduled tasks, connecting to other systems and platforms to perform various tasks.
