Crossplane in practice: Building and operating cloud infrastructure with Kubernetes

Managing cloud infrastructure often means juggling Terraform state files, pipelines, and manual processes—especially when networking, governance, and landing zones are involved.

In this session, you’ll see how Crossplane takes a different approach by using continuous reconciliation through Kubernetes, removing the need to manage state files and making infrastructure behave more like any other declarative system.

We’ll walk through practical examples, from provisioning resources like virtual networks to delivering full landing zones through reusable building blocks. Along the way, we’ll look at how to maintain control and governance, avoid common pitfalls like policy conflicts, and enable safe self-service for development teams.

Live demos will show both individual resource provisioning and complete environment setups.

While the examples use Azure, the patterns apply to any cloud.
