I don't know if you ever faced it, but I did. I needed to create an Endpoint which consumes a database. But how do you do this? What languages are possible?

API's are difficult to use for database developers. It is getting worse if you need to create one. Looking at the API side, we can consume Rest full API's but there are others. Looking at the query languages we can choose from, it might be interesting to sometimes prefer one over the other one.

Is this subject to any platform we can use? How can we look at them?

I will give you some things to think about. What considerations you can make, and how you can test and implement it.

I will go through some Query languages like TSQL, GraphQL and KQL. To showcase I will go from on prem SQL, to AzureSQL to Fabric to LAW. All these things can be used/consumed together with API's
