Architecture as Code in Practice

Architecture and code often diverge and key quality goals such as maintainability or performance fade into the background. One reason for this is that many teams reduce architecture to boxes, arrows and the technology stack instead of seeing it as a strategic solution to achieve quality goals. “Architecture as Code” integrates architecture directly into the code and enables continuous alignment through fitness functions. The “as Code” approach is already well established for infrastructure, documentation and diagrams; it integrates concepts into the development process, makes them maintainable and allows automation. Participants will leave with a clearer awareness of what architecture really involves, along with hands-on insights and concrete examples of applying the “as Code” approach.
