MySQL Architectures for the Newly Initiated

Are you a developer who has been thrust into more of a DBA role?
Do you have a need to start scaling out your MySQL infrastructure?
Are you simply curious about MySQL architecture?

If you answered 'yes' to any of these (or if you didn't necessarily answer 'no') this session is for you.

In this session, we will discuss the different types of MySQL architectures including read replicas, clustering, cluster replication, etc., when you might employ one or the other, and what tools we can use to test our architectures before deploying them to production.

For those dipping their toes in the water of database infrastructure architecture, these topics can get a bit overwhelming. Fear not, through the use of basic examples and a dash of humor, we will empower you to build out your MySQL empire.
