These events are built by people, and people do not leave their real lives at the door. Behind the scenes of careers, community work, speaking, organising and “doing it all”, many of us are also balancing caring responsibilities, family pressures, health challenges, and the general weight of trying to keep everything moving at once. This panel is an open and honest discussion about that reality.

Hosted by the Scottish Summit organisers, this session is a true safe space for a frank and human conversation about balancing career growth, community involvement, and caring duties while protecting your own wellbeing. We will talk about pressures, compromises, support systems, and the importance of asking for help, in a setting where people can feel heard, understood, and not judged.
