I've worked with collaborative technologies - starting with SharePoint, but more recently across the wider Microsoft 365 stack - for almost 20 years. Starting in IT support roles after university, becoming a SharePoint champion, moving into a technical SME roles and then finally moving into leadership roles about 6 or 7 years ago.

In this session, I'll share a quick overview of my career journey including:
- some of my key observations and learnings from my journey through almost 2 decades working in tech
- career highlights and the opportunities that a tech career can open up
- tips for how to follow a path into leadership, and how to thrive once you're there
