Sean Marcano
Head of Design at Moneda and Product Designer at TodayTix
Actions
My name is Sean Marcano and I am a product designer based out of Dallas, Texas. Born and raised in New York, I grew up playing Massively Multiplayer computer games and making art in Photoshop CS. I've always had an innate need to make things usable and beautiful, which is why it's not surprising that I'm a designer.
As a product designer at TodayTix, I design compelling user experiences for the application focused on mobile design on the Acquisition and Retention teams I thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams and enjoy solving challenging problems for the greater good. I also am leading the design system efforts to roll out across our platforms. I love what I do.
While product design and user experience design are my core strengths, you'll find me participating in various cross-disciplinary activities including user research, animation, information architecture, and visual design.
When it comes to working, I thrive in collaborative, cross-functional teams, and enjoy solving challenging problems for the greater good. I love when people from different backgrounds bring the essence that makes them unique to the table.
Outside of design, I can be found working out in the gym, driving around, or behind my computer playing some games, exploring new worlds.
Area of Expertise
Co-Creation: Building a product of the Users, by the Users, and for the Users in 24hrs.
This session will focus on early validation testing of ideas in search of solving complex problems and the importance of representation in the development team. We will highlight the pros and cons of fast prototyping mobile apps with a hybrid model of leveraging code and non-scalable efforts to emulate a real-world environment where users are at the center, both co-creating and testing as they perceive the value and user experience of your solution while establishing a feedback loop for nearly instant iteration of the product.
