The pandemic forced people to shift their idea of gathering from in-person, which is limited by geographical restrictions, to the ability to meet with anyone, anywhere, anytime.
For many that found it uncomfortable to mingle at in-person networking events, the pandemic has enabled simpler, less formal remote gatherings.
However, forming a community requires more than simply gathering people. It is about creating trust and helping one another toward common goals and causes, by regular engagement and finding opportunities to assist each other.
