I love to help people and companies succeed in Agile. Before joining Isos Technology, my career in tech began about 15 years ago as a Product Manager struggling to grow and launch new features with our waterfall approach to software development.
With one book (Succeeding with Agile by Mike Kohn) and a little mentoring, my life and company was changed forever more and I’ve never looked back.
More than a decade later, I knew that the next venture in my career needed to include Atlassian and a company culture that allowed me to thrive.
So here I am today with Isos Technology, our incredibly varied book of clients, thrilled beyond belief about carrying forward the impact that I’ve personally experienced from adopting Agile ways of working and thinking.
Removing blinders: The art of leading change through realistic assessments (Mini Talk)
What would you call the difference between your preferences and reality? I call it STRESSFUL! Learn about what inhibits us from making realistic assessments and why they’re vital to having challenging conversations and changing the status quo.
From Tech Titans to Agile Ambassadors: How We Humanized Tool-Heavy Sales (and Won Big)
I started working at Isos Technology in 2018 as a Tech Consultant. At Isos, we were a big deal in helping people use Atlassian tools, and we even won awards for it. But I noticed something different. We could also help companies with Agile Coaching and Transformations. But how do you sell human-centered practices when your whole company praises technology?
Join me on a raw tale of transformation. I'll unveil the messy journey as we wrestled with this dilemma. You'll hear the cringe-worthy stumbles, the aha moments, and the epic wins. Even the most tech-centric giants can embrace the humanity of agile. But this isn't a corporate sob story. This is a roadmap for integrating agile opportunities into any environment, no matter how tool-heavy or resistant.
You'll learn, how to bridge the gap between tech and touchy-feely agile practices, practical strategies for selling "soft skills" in a "hardcore tech" world and proven tactics for shifting your company culture from tool-driven to human-centered. Walk away with actionable steps to unlock agile opportunities and win over the most skeptical people.
