Skill Buddy: A Hands-On Tour of Skills in the New Copilot Studio

Copilot Studio's new agent builder introduced support for skills, reusable, markdown-based instructions that load on demand instead of living crammed into a single instructions box. This session uses Skill Buddy, a real community project built around a Copilot Studio agent, a SharePoint Skills Catalog, and a Canvas app, to show what skills actually look like in practice and why they're a better pattern than the old one-agent-does-everything approach.

Agent Code Red: Governance in Practice with Agent 365

Agents are being created faster than most organizations can track them. Some deliver value. Others introduce risk. Some appear outside established processes, with unclear ownership and expanding permissions.

This session frames agent governance as an operational response problem rather than a policy discussion. Using Agent 365 as the operational control system, we walk through how organizations can detect, assess, and respond to uncontrolled agent deployment and growth.

Over a series of evolving scenarios, the audience becomes part of a simulated response team. As new agent situations emerge, attendees make decisions that affect visibility, access control, lifecycle management, and containment. The outcomes of those decisions are demonstrated in real time.

Through practical examples, the session shows how Agent 365 supports monitoring, ownership assignment, access enforcement, and ongoing administration of agents already in production. The focus is on maintaining speed and autonomy for builders while giving organizations the controls needed to operate safely at scale.

Level Up with Next Gen Productivity

Unlock your productivity potential by leveraging the Microsoft 365 suite to develop effective standards of habit through a powerful productivity framework. Building an AI Practice with a Strategic Framework for Success

Success with AI isn’t just about technology—it’s about having the right strategy and process in place. This session provides a practical blueprint for building a sustainable AI practice, drawing from real-world journeys and lessons learned. We’ll explore the key steps to drive momentum, from aligning AI initiatives with business objectives to structuring teams, evaluating use cases, and scaling solutions effectively. Walk away with a clear roadmap and the confidence to take the next steps in your AI journey.

Building a Sustainable Data Culture

In the last few years, the expectation has grown that users outside of the information technology department are to build their own reporting solutions. The result has left IT leaders scrambling to create a sustainable data culture that not only enables these users, but also protects their environment. Without a strategy in place, organizations end up creating restrictive policies that destroy that initial spark of a data culture.

In this session, we will share some of the key components that help foster a sustainable data culture that is easy to manage. We will explore components such as content ownership, lifecycle management, data management, training/adoption, and auditing of the Power BI platform that help drive a healthy data culture. We will also highlight some of the challenges that might arise as you embark on your journey.

At the end of this session, attendees should know the right questions they need to start asking as they start to develop a strategy for their organization.

Teaching Agents to Play Together in Copilot Studio

Getting one agent to work is a win. Getting a team of agents to collaborate, delegate, and stay in their lane without stepping on each other? That is where the real magic happens. In this workshop we move beyond the single-agent mindset and explore what it takes to design, build, and govern multi-agent systems inside Microsoft Copilot Studio that actually play well together across HR, IT, sales, and operations.
We will cover embedded child agents, connected agents, generative orchestration, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, all anchored in governance considerations that keep your solutions enterprise-ready. Along the way we will dig into inspiring real-world case studies and walk through a practical example that connects the concepts to outcomes you will recognize from your own organization. Attendees leave with a working multi-agent solution they built themselves and an architecture pattern they can actually use.
