Control your infrastructure with BICEP en

Are you looking for a way to control your Azure infrastructure as code with BICEP? Come join Alex and Dominic in their upcoming session at the conference and learn to do just that! The two will provide a comprehensive overview of the setup process, from Github Actions to Github Codespaces and integration with Azure Active Directory.

Whether you're new to BICEP or an experienced user, there is something for everyone. During this session, they will demonstrate how to deploy BICEP code from a Github repository, how to use Github Copilot, and how to slice the BICEP modules for maximum readability. Plus, they'll be offering some advanced tricks on using the setup together with Github Copilot.

This is a great opportunity for anyone in control of an Azure infrastructure who wants to gain a better understanding of how to manage it with BICEP. So join Alex and Dominic at their upcoming session and get ready to control your infrastructure with Code!

Smarter Invoice processing with Power Platform & AI en de

Are you interested in understanding how to leverage the Power Platform to improve your invoice handling? Do you want to gain deeper knowledge of AI Builder and Power Automate? At this session, we will take a practical look at how to use AI Builder and integrate it into the business processes of managing invoices.

You will learn how to create SharePoint fields, customize additional AI models to detect more than the default fields provided by Microsoft's invoice model, and create a feedback loop if the model's detection isn't good enough. We'll also show you how to create custom Power Automate flows to detect different formats.

By the end of the talk, you will have a much better insight into how to use the Power Platform for your finance department and understand how it can help improve business processes. This session is suitable for those who have a basic understanding of both Power Automate and SharePoint. Don't miss out!

Secure all your endpoints with Endpoint Manager en

Are you looking for a way to secure all your endpoints including Windows, Android, Mac and iOS devices? Join Alex and Dominic to learn how to use Microsoft Endpoint Manager. In this session, they will cover various onboarding processes for Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, such as Windows Autopilot, Apple Business Manager integration and DEP for a zero-touch experience for Apple devices. You will also learn how to configure devices, rollout Defender on all platforms, and how to face and learn from common problems. This is the perfect opportunity to gain an understanding of how Endpoint Manager can simplify the management and rollout of devices. This talk is geared towards IT managers and administrators. Don't miss this chance to start securing your endpoints!

Create offline web experiences for Hololens en

The web is the ultimate application platform. In combination with the latest devices and technologies it enables you to use mixed reality experiences across different device platforms and create websites which come to life on your HoloLens or your smartphone.

After this session you will have a deeper understanding of the current state of web technologies and how the combination of XR and web components could work for you. Additionally you will be able to see how such an application can be shipped as progressive web app to enable offline use.

Web components and what they can do for you en

These days you can't develop frontends without using any kind of JS framework or some JS libraries. And so we made our way starting the early days with jQuery switching over to extJS, trying polymer, falling in love with backbonejs, stepped over to Angular 1-6. Each framework has its popularity and every new version brings us new features and more performance. But each upgrade or switch means usually losing lots of functionalities or reimplementing same stuff with different patterns. These tasks were expensive, error-prone and not sustained from a business perspective.

Then web components hit the stage. We believe that this W3C standard is the biggest thing since HTML5 which brought us semantic elements.

Complicated interface elements can be lost only by switching between frameworks, framework version or needs to be reimplemented.

My goal is to show you how you can get the most out of this new technology and give you a insight into our work which covers often to enable teams to scale up their performance by simplifying tasks or optimizing application designs.

To simplify the development I use stencil ( a webcomponent compiler ) which has been developed by the ionic team and provides a major simplification when you want to create web applications, websites and PWA's with web components. Stencil provides solutions like unit and end - to - end testing out of the box.

One very important part of this talk will also be the opportunity to use webcomponents for websites while also ranking well on search engines (SEO). This subtopic will also give you an overview of the currently available possibilities to pre - render contents or use server - side rendering technologies.

I want to give you a practical overview on webcomponents and give various examples on how to use them for apps, PWA's and websites without keeping back the possible issues you will run into.

Stay in touch with your customers through Azure cloud en

The azure cloud enabled us to build a product driven by Microsoft AI and speech recognition to align customer surveys to the customer journey.

You will get informations on how we built the product and how we used Azure`s services to upload speech files to the cloud, process the files with speech recognition and run sentiment analyzes over the speech input.

After the talk you will know how you can create automatic deployment scenarios for a multi service application and how you can create a product from a simple prototype to a production ready application in a negligible timeframe.

The smyle application consist of a customer frontend, an analytics frontend, blob storage, CosmosDB, Cognitive Services, Azure functions and uses the event functionalities of the Azure cloud to trigger the Services, analytics and storage functionalities.

The data gets denormalized for the analytics application via the CosmosDB ChangeFeed.

We built and host survey applications and customer excitement analytics systems for years now and are already storing and analyzing millions of datasets per customer.

Smyle is our next step to create lean and efficient surveys. They can be answered easily via text and speech through various channels like a website, whatsapp or short message. It's our first step to build an AI / bot driven customer journey analytics platform.
