Crisis Mode: How to protect your (and/or your brand’s) reputation

A crisis can threaten your brand’s reputation.

The situation can be fast-paced, high-stakes and emotionally charged. When it comes to a crisis response, you don’t want to be building the plane while you are flying it.

In this session, attendees will take away:

• Three immediate steps to implement to prepare for a crisis
• Best practices during a crisis
• How to determine if an apology is required

This can be a 30-60 minute session with Q&A.

Mindful Communication: Who are you unknowingly excluding?

We are constantly communicating. Are we reaching our intended audience?

Your audiences may include your team, coworkers, leadership, stakeholders and media along with existing and prospective clients, partners and vendors.

Ensure your communication reaches, and resonates with, your intended audience with the intended message.

In this session, attendees will learn:

• How to identify and acknowledge who one may be inadvertently excluding through communications (or lack of)
• How to think more broadly about how people consume your communication
• Ten mindful ways to communicate

This can be a 45-60 minute session with Q&A. It can also be a workshop with a minimum of 90 minutes and maximum of 2.5 hours.

Cracking the PR Code: Unearthing a compelling hook

The key to capturing an audience’s attention is in the art of crafting compelling story angles.

Angles, or hooks, serve as the cornerstone of effective storytelling. Through practical exercises and real-world examples, attendees gain hands-on experience crafting angles and unlocking the power of storytelling to elevate a brand’s visibility and impact.

In this session, attendees will begin to:

• Identify and develop captivating story angles that resonate
• Uncover hooks that establish thought leadership, credibility, trust and authority
• Determine if an angle is newsworthy and, if not, how you can still use it to your advantage
• Utilize an integrated communications approach to drive meaningful engagement

This can be a 45-60 minute session with Q&A. It can also be a workshop with a minimum of 90 minutes and maximum of 2.5 hours.
