Mastering Fabric Headless – Automate Your Way to the Top

How far can you go in Microsoft Fabric without ever opening a browser? In this live, hands-on session, we’ll build a fully automated headless Fabric environment using only the CLI, REST APIs, and Visual Studio Code. Starting from a pre-provisioned trial, we’ll walk through ingestion, transformation, reporting, and deployment – entirely via automation.
Along the way, we’ll track progress using the Fabric Headless Score – a structured rating system that evaluates how production-ready and complete each stage of headless Fabric really is. This session is for those who love command lines, automation, and efficient engineering – and want to push Fabric to its scripting limits.

Takeaways:
• Build a complete end-to-end Fabric solution without using the GUI
• Use the Fabric CLI, REST APIs, and VS Code to automate every step
• Understand the Fabric Headless Score – five categories to benchmark automation readiness
• Reusable automation patterns for setup, deployment, and monitoring

The Trusted Lake – Microsoft Fabric as the Foundation for Responsible AI

Trustworthy AI starts with trustworthy data. In this session, I’ll demonstrate how Microsoft Fabric provides a solid, compliant, and transparent foundation for building responsible AI solutions.
We’ll explore how to implement core data protection principles – such as purpose limitation, access control, data minimization, and auditability – using Fabric capabilities like sensitivity labels, data lineage, role-based access, metadata classification, and policy enforcement.
A special focus will be on Data Agents, Fabric’s new intelligent bridge between governed data and AI workloads. Learn approaches how to architect AI that are controllable, explainable, and regulation-ready – for organizations that take responsibility seriously.

Takeaways:
• Why Microsoft Fabric is a strong candidate for AI data governance
• How to ensure transparency, auditability, and accountability with Fabric tools
• Implementing data classification, lineage, and access control
• Actionable guidance for DPOs, compliance leads, architects, and risk officers

From Requirements to Reality – Agentic Development with Microsoft Fabric

Imagine explaining your idea once – clearly, in plain language – and minutes later seeing it come to life as a working Microsoft Fabric solution.
In this session, we’ll explore how Agentic Development bridges the gap between business intent and technical execution.
We’ll start with a well-structured set of requirements, feed them (together with relevant knowledge and rules) into an AI Agent, and watch it generate ready-to-use Fabric artefacts: PBIP reports, TMDL models, notebooks, and pipelines.
Along the way, we’ll share the patterns, prompts, and quality checks that turn “AI magic” into a repeatable, dependable workflow.
You’ll leave inspired – and equipped – to make agents a trusted member of your Fabric development team.
Takeaways:
• Structure for Success – how to frame requirements so agents deliver exactly what you need
• Agent-powered Fabric – generating PBIP, TMDL, notebooks, and pipelines with minimal manual effort
• Repeatable Workflows – patterns for consistent, production-ready results

Trust your Fabric – Building Secure & Compliant Data Platforms

Reliable data platforms don’t happen by accident – they result from deliberate architectural decisions. In this session, I’ll show how to build Microsoft Fabric environments that are not only scalable but also secure, compliant, and trustworthy. Drawing from real-world projects, I’ll walk through proven best practices for identity management, workspace policies, data protection, encryption, and auditing. We’ll discuss what works in practice, where the common pitfalls lie, and how to align architectural flexibility with regulatory obligations.

Takeaways:
• Key components of a trustworthy Fabric architecture – both technical and organizational
• How to address security, compliance, and privacy requirements with Fabric
• Real-world guidance on policies, encryption strategies, and access management
• Governance patterns that scale – without overwhelming operations
• Trusted Advisor mindset: how to communicate decisions to security and compliance stakeholders
