TellYourStory
TellYourStory: At an exclusive session for Google WTM Ambassadors, I learned how to create a compelling story to boost my career development & go ahead.
TellYourStory helps people maximize sponsorship impact through the power of
storytelling.
Storytelling is powerful because it transfers experiences directly into the mind of the person you are sharing with.
They feel what you feel. They identify.
A practical workshop that gives you tools to be able to share in one sentence who you are, what you know, and where you are aiming to go ahead in your career.
Welcome to the Human-Computer co-creation era
The Human-Computer Co-Creation Era is when humans and computers work together to create new knowledge, products, and services. This is different from the previous era, in which computers were primarily used to automate tasks humans had previously done.
There are several reasons why humanity should pay attention to the Human-Computer Co-Creation Era:
1. Increased Efficiency: By working together, humans and computers can accomplish tasks much faster and more efficiently than either could alone. This can lead to significant productivity gains for individuals and organizations.
2. New Possibilities: Combining human and computer capabilities can create new possibilities for innovation and creativity. For example, humans can provide intuition and creativity, while computers provide processing power and data analysis.
3. Better Decisions: Computers can help humans make better decisions by providing more information and more accurate analysis. For example, computers can process large amounts of data and identify patterns and insights that would be difficult for humans to detect.
4. Economic Development: The Human-Computer Co-Creation Era could lead to new job opportunities and economic growth. As computers take over some tasks, humans will be freed up to focus on more complex and creative tasks that cannot be easily automated.
5. Societal Impact: The integration of computers with humans can have a significant impact on many areas of society, including healthcare, education, transportation, and more. By combining the strengths of humans and computers, we can improve the quality of life for people worldwide.
It is important to remember that this kind of partnership between humans and computers raises ethical and philosophical questions, such as the impact of automation on jobs, privacy and security concerns, and how to ensure the benefits of the Human-Computer Co-Creation Era are distributed fairly.
Therefore, it's crucial to consider these ethical concerns and guide the developing and deploying new technologies.
Human-computer co-creation also has the potential to enhance decision-making. Computers can provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis, while humans can provide the context and domain knowledge necessary to make informed decisions. Together, they can make more informed and accurate decisions than alone.
Human-computer co-creation has already begun transforming work in many industries, such as healthcare, finance, and manufacturing.
For example, doctors are using AI-powered diagnostic tools to analyze medical images and make more accurate diagnoses, while manufacturers are using robotic systems to automate the assembly of complex products.
However, the human-computer co-creation era also presents some challenges.
One of the main challenges is the need for effective communication and collaboration between humans and computers.
It is essential that the computer's output is understandable to humans and that the computer can interpret human input meaningfully.
Building your Personal Board of Directors
Want to Advance in Your Career? Build Your Own Board of Directors. When you start out in your career, it’s normal to look for guidance as you figure things out. One of the strategies that can help is creating your career board of directors. This board is an expansive network of individuals who act as independent advisers to you. Each director in your career board should specialize in a different aspect.
Want to Advance in Your Career? Build Your Own Board of Directors.
When you start out in your career, it’s normal to look for guidance as you figure things out. One of the strategies that can help is creating your career board of directors. This board is an expansive network of individuals who act as independent advisers to guide your path.
When you’re new to the workforce, these questions are hard to answer — especially when things are uncertain. You may lack the information necessary to make a confident decision. You may be unsure of what the “next steps” look like. You may even require more time to figure out your core values. Knowing what you want and how to get it takes trial and error. Early on, you likely need a bit of help.
You need a career board of directors.
The concept, originally proposed by Jan Torrisi-Mokwa in her book, Building Career Equity, differs from having multiple mentors.
Traditionally, a mentor is a senior colleague or professional whose work you deeply admire. You may want to emulate their leadership style, learn from their experience, or follow in their footsteps. Mentorships are often formal, one-on-one relationships that can require a significant time commitment.
A career board of directors, on the other hand, is a more expansive network of individuals who act as independent advisers to you. Just as a company looks to its board for guidance, these people are there to offer you support in a broader sense. Each director usually specializes in a different area: a great manager, a skilled writer, a savvy freelancer, a wise parent, a compassionate friend, a talented peer, and so on. As such, each is able to offer you advice specific to their expertise.
The goal is to put together a group of people with experiences completely distinct from your own who can offer you a fresh perspective when needed. You can reach out to them with smaller asks than you would a mentor — though, over time, a few of them may grow into that role.
Made up of up to six professionals in your age group, a personal board of directors is designed to act as a sounding board. They are meant to advise you and provide you with feedback on your life decisions, opportunities, and challenges. More importantly, they should be people who are in your corner and can provide thoughtful and measured insight about you and for you. Oftentimes, these are feedbacks you do not necessarily get from colleagues or friends.
Having a personal board of directors can help gather much-needed differing perspectives to help guide your career, from finding jobs to navigating work-life balance to landing important promotions. They can help you refine your goals and strategize about ways to achieve them.
But after all that is said and done, how can you build your very own personal board of directors? Join us as our speakers provide you with tips on how to assemble an effective personal board of directors, conduct check-ins with and maintain a mutually-beneficial relationship with your board members, and know when to disband an ineffective board.

It's never easy to keep up with market trends - every day you have a business to run, after all.
However, it's important to recognize that the industry is constantly changing and to stay ahead of the curve and avoid competitors passing you by; you need to be able to move with the times for long-term business planning.
Analyzing market trends doesn't have to be as scary as it sounds. It is simply a comparison of industry data over a specified time, designed to identify trends or consistent results that can be used to map your business strategy - aligning it with the general direction of the industry in which you specialize.
Market trends tend to be heavily influenced by consumer habits and behaviors. By doing certain ways of analyzing industry trends, you can determine the moves that may directly affect your overall business performance, which I will expand on in the lecture.
Data science and network analysis in aspects of artificial intelligence
How is AI connected to data science?
The goal of big data analytics using AI is to automate data analysis and make the process faster, more accurate, and more scalable, enabling organizations to harness the full potential of their data and gain a competitive advantage.
If you are using any social media applications, you may have experienced the friend or follower suggestions functions. Have you ever wondered how these functions work? One common technology used in these cases is Network Analysis.
What is a Network?
A network refers to a structure representing a group of objects/people and the relationships between them. It is also known as a graph in mathematics. A network structure consists of nodes and edges. Here, nodes represent objects we are going to analyze while edges represent the relationships between those objects.
For example, if we are studying a social relationship between Facebook users, nodes are target users and edges are relationships such as friendships between users or group memberships. In Twitter, edges can be following/follower relationships.

Tell your Story workshop
We can become powerful allies by sharing our stories - and spreading the stories of others.
It's well-proven that effective storytelling can take you further in your career and help you find and build relationships with sponsors. To help women and underrepresented minorities grow through the leadership pipeline, TellYourStory wants to help maximize the impact of sponsorship through the power of storytelling.
TellYourStory is a powerful tool used at Google in several settings - it’s really simple but highly effective, both online and offline.
Storytelling is powerful because it transfers experiences directly to the brain of the person you are sharing with. They feel what you feel. They empathize.
If you can build your own story that is simple, concise, and, most importantly, repeatable, others can repeat your story for you. This is particularly powerful for sponsors who know what to say about you to their network - and it can start repeating in a more senior network.

Is DevOps Dead ?
In one corner we have Angel and Fabian arguing that DevOps is dead and that Platform Engineers and SREs are fundamentally different beasts from their predecessor. They will also dive into what this means for tech managers and for those currently working in DevOps, what skills will matter in the new world?
AND....in the other corner, Andreas and Oshrat will argue that DevOps is live and kicking with all the new naming conventions being mere semantics. They will dive into how employers try to differentiate themselves and what the different terms say about a company. They will also discuss what common pitfalls engineers fall into when trying to follow the latest trends.
Together we will debate and analyze these frameworks and hope to thereby settle the question "Is DevOps dead?"
DevOps is dead. Long live DevOps.

Impact Entrepreneurship : hayti-sham Project
Impact Entrepreneurship refers to the process favoring the creation and growth of ethical, transparent enterprises that have a meaningful impact on our lives and society. Unlike non-profits, they focus on creating social impact through market strategies.
In May 2020, as part of the hackathon in memory of the late Michal Sela, a team of female volunteers established this website and the project #Hayty_Shem, and its purpose is to raise awareness of violent relationships inspired by the Mito movement, the mythical Facebook page of "One of One" and the #Hayty_Shem project of "Political Reading" ".
The site that was established gathers testimonies from abusive relationships, with the goal of being a home for anyone who wants to share his or her story and for anyone who wants to learn from this experience further.
