While the covid pandemic has given us a lot of experience with working from home, many companies are still wondering what to do in the long term. Do we want to go back to the office, work from home, or find a hybrid solution?

I've always been curious about what makes us opt for certain work environments. Do introverts prefer working from home, and are Scrum Masters always on site? Does the choice depend on how the workplace is designed? What are the main reasons for one way of working or another? How do people's wishes match up with reality? I surveyed over 100 people, read studies and books. to find answers to these questions.

In this talk, I'll share the results that mattered to me, as well as insights on corporate culture, hybrid workplace models, trust, and solidarity in our teams. I'll show you why we need to rethink how we work together in a hybrid world and give you concrete ideas on how we can stay connected, even if we no longer see each other every day.
