Ce talk remonte aux origines du mouvement : de l'imaginaire cyberpunk de Gibson aux forums DIY des années 2000, pour comprendre comment et pourquoi il a resurgi, et ce que ce retour dit de notre rapport à l'outil informatique.
On s'interrogera sur ce que construire sa propre machine change vraiment : à sa façon de coder, à sa façon de penser l'autonomie, et pourquoi c'est précisément un public que la tech n'attendait pas qui repose ces questions.

I've gone over to the dark side and have been working 100% remotely for 2 years in a development team at a startup.
The covid effect has encouraged companies to adopt this way of working brutally. Some have been won over, others not. For me, the experience has been super positive.
In this conference, I'd like to share my personal experience of what remote working has brought me, both as an employee and as the manager of this team, one of the most successful I've met in my 15 years of experience.
What does remote control bring to the table compared with face-to-face teams? What mechanisms are put in place to ensure success in this context?
I won't have an absolute answer to these questions, but I will be able to share with you the elements that seemed to me to be the key to this success.
