This workshop/master-class equips you with the foundational understanding and practical knowledge needed to design and implement intelligent applications.
We begin by demystifying the core mechanics of GenAI covering tokens, vector similarity, embeddings, and the text generation.
From there, we’ll guide you through a prompt engineering, semantic search, classification, clustering, recommendation, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
You’ll learn how to integrate GenAI into enterprise-grade software systems using plugins, tools, and function calls, including MCP Servers and Clients. Through live demonstrations, we’ll show how developers, especially those working in .NET, can build intelligent, autonomous agents that execute solve complex tasks and orchestrate workflows.
We’ll also introduce Microsoft AI Foundry and Microsoft Open Source Agent Framework used by Microsoft to create agents and copilots.
