They started teaching art as a teenager and have been teaching ever since. From basic programming on an old commodore to building their first computer in 1998 and started coding in html, smitty has always been creating with tech. - learnt Korean language by myself | currently a TOPIK 4 (B2) holder approved by King Sejong Institute in Zagreb
- visited Korea twice | a personal trip in 2015. and a work trip in 2018.
- held elementary Korean language classes for a year in Zagreb Korean school
- worked as a general manager of a Korean hostel and a tour operator for Korean market in a Croatian DMC company (Uniline)
- worked as a tour leader for Croatian Olympic Committee at 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic games
- worked as a simultaneous translator in various occasions, but most recently for King Sejong Institute in University of Rijeka (UNIRI) which resulted in its opening in September
- currently on a Korean Embassy project for SNS supporters of Korea

Alexandra grew up surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, which inevitably shaped her lifelong passion for marine science and conservation. Alexandra attended Dalhousie University (Halifax, Nova Scotia), achieving a BSc in biology and environmental sciences, as well as a Master’s of Marine Management with a focus on Integrated Coastal and Ocean Management (ICOM). Her research allowed her greater insights and appreciation for the complexity of local marine ecosystems and the many interconnected political-science-public spheres.
