I am a self-employed program manager, assessor, lead ecological trainings and sometimes I can also be found as a medium mountain guide, tap dancer and entertainer. With over 20 years of experience, I have the experience in business to pass on my heart's affairs as an assessor and coach.

Where do I come from?

Europe is my home. After graduating from high school in Freiberg, I went to Ireland for 3 years – without a return flight. There I did an apprenticeship in media production and then decided to study mathematics – universal, analytical, associative, fantastic and a lot of fun. This was followed by years abroad - Norway, India, Spain, Switzerland, France and projects in more than 15 different countries. I was able to learn a lot in the process.
Today I live in Europe, part-time in Germany, part-time in countries with mountains – and finally speak 4 languages fluently – a childhood dream.

My team of Solution Engineers works with clients all over the world helping them realize their Developer Experience dreams, which feeds right into maximizing their ability to contribute to DevOps, connecting the mainframe to the cloud in a unique and powerful way to enable more access to analytics, and overall a more agile mainframe experience. There is nothing more exciting than to have a client jump up and realize that they are not hindered by the platform, it is the assumptions about the platform that hold them back. Many people have stated that, after starting a DevOps journey, that they actually build and deploy code faster than their distributed partners, which is awesome to hear!

In my spare time, I have 4 adult children and a wife who is an accomplished stage and technical director. Between ballet, stage, and music, much of our time is taken up by the arts, but my wife and I have taken up off-roading in our lifted Jeep, so we can get away from it all and climb over big rocks, just because they are there. My technical passions outside of mainframe DevOps and cloud center around AI and Virtual Reality, because I see a revolution coming in how we build, consume, and leverage the digital world.
