Share. Build. Inspire.

Bring your knowledge to the next DEV meetup and help shape the future of software engineering at The Ohio State University.

The DEV Software Engineering Club is looking for passionate builders, innovators, and technologists to speak at our upcoming events. Whether you’re into full-stack development, AI/ML, DevOps, systems design, or startup engineering — we’d love to feature your insights and experiences.

Sessions will be an hour long every Wednesday from 6-7 PM, location TBD.


📣 Speaker Submission Details

When submitting your talk, please include the following:

1️⃣ Talk Title

A clear, compelling title that tells attendees what your session is about.

2️⃣ Speaker Name & LinkedIn Profile

We’ll use this to introduce and promote your session to our club.

3️⃣ Session Description (Abstract)

Tell us what your talk is about, why it matters, and what people will learn.

Include whether you’ll have live demos, code, or architecture examples.

Which of the above dates you are available to present

4️⃣ Key Takeaways

What will attendees walk away with?

Examples:

Practical design patterns

Optimizing ML workflows or full-stack architectures
