Vjekoslav Babic

Vjekoslav Babic

Vjekoslav Babić, or just Vjeko as he prefers to go by in the community in a vain attempt to simplify his absurd Slavic name, is a Business Central architect, developer, trainer, author and blogger. With more than two decades of experience in the IT, he worked with vast range of technologies, but his passion has always been anything that had to do with the web and mobile worlds.

Deep down, Vjeko is an incurable hacker who took quite a long time to realize that the one thing he really loves is writing code, plain and simple. He immensely enjoys breaking things apart to see how they work, not necessarily always putting them back together. As a frequent speaker at conferences, in his demos, and on his blog, he is always pushing the boundaries of what's possible, connecting the world of Business Central with just about anything that can be plugged into it through some obscure loophole or undocumented interface, especially if they are not meant to be used that way. In Vjeko's view, nothing is really meant to be used in any particular way and figuring out how to make things useful beyond their intended purpose is the meaning of life, in a way.

Since spring 2010, Vjeko has been awarded the Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for Microsoft Dynamics NAV. You can meet him at his blog "Vjeko.com - ideas in the cloud".

Vangelis Stykas

Vangelis Stykas

Vangelis began as a developer from Greece. Six years ago he realized that only his dog didn’t have an API, so he decided to steer his focus towards security.
That led him to pursue a PhD in Web Application Security with an extra focus on machine learning. He’s still actively pursuing it.
He currently applies his skills as a Chief Technology Officer at Atropos, and during his free time, Vangelis is helping start-ups secure themselves on the internet and get a leg up in security terms.
His love of a simplistic approach to hacking by exploiting vulnerable APIs led him to publish research regarding API controlling ships, smart locks, IP cameras, car alarms, EV chargers, and many other IoT devices. Since our lives are nowadays extremely cyber-dependent, his goal is to convince all companies to never neglect their API security as rush-to-market mentality is almost certain to lead to catastrophic security failure.

Emanuele Meazzo

Emanuele Meazzo

I’m passionate about technology since childhood, from consumer electronics to enterprise hardware/software and everything in between.

Following this passion, I pursued an education focused on scientific and technical fields, becoming an IT Engineer at the end of my academic career.
I often spend my free time trying to learn something new and be up to date on the topics in my interest, allowing me to maintain and develop my skillset.

Thanks to study and international experiences with customers and employers (in USA, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, etc..) and mentors, I’ve developed a transversal knowledge that involves both the elements of an architecture and how to exploit it in order to give to the business the value that needs.

My strong suite is architecting data solutions, from relational DBs to AI applications: I like to know my tech stack from top to bottom, you can't ignore the hardware in the same way you can't ignore the business requirements.

On the job I usually find myself being the go-to guy that both senior and junior employees approach to tackle particularly tricky issues or asking for advice
I appreciate whenever this happens as I’m stimulated by new problems to solve and I enjoy sharing my knowledge to empower others

Most Active Speakers 2024

Every year, we put together a list of the most active speakers. This list features the top 3% of speakers who have participated in events using Sessionize during the 2024.

The 3% is calculated from the pool of all speakers that have at least one accepted session in year 2024. We don't include inactive speakers or speakers that had no accepted sessions during the year. There are around 38,000 unique accepted speakers this year, the 3% is 1036. Not all of them have their speaker profiles set as public, and we respect that, so the list doesn't show all of them.

The calculation is based on the number of accepted events, that's the main criteria, but to get more refined results we also look at things like multiple sessions per event, sharing a session with a co-speaker and how big the event is. Number of submissions and declined sessions don't affect the list.

Please note that the count of events and sessions in this list does not represent the number of events and sessions from the year 2024. Instead, it shows the number of events and sessions featured on the speaker's public speaker profile; these numbers have nothing to do with the award itself.
