A prolific author, trailblazing innovator, and SAFe® Fellow, Luke’s contributions to the global agile community include five books, Profit Streams™, Innovation Games®, Participatory Budgeting at enterprise scale, Enterprise Retrospectives, a pattern language for market-driven roadmapping, and numerous enhancements to SAFe the Lean Portfolio Management and Agile Product Delivery competencies.

Luke is the co-founder of Every Voice Engaged Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps citizens, governments and nonprofit organizations collaboratively solve problems that are unsolvable without civic engagement. EVEF has been a leader in the Participatory Budgeting movement, helping citizens prioritize hundreds of millions of dollars through Budget Games. Luke created the partnership with The Kettering Foundation to Common Ground for Action, the world’s first scalable platform for deliberative decision-making.

An active angel and growth-stage investor, Luke is a venture partner with Companyon Ventures and a member of Wealthing.club. Luke is a former National Junior Pairs Figure Skating Champion and has an M.S.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan.
