Stig Magne Henriksen

Stig Magne Henriksen is an experienced Senior Data Engineer currently working at the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration. In his current role, he is responsible for implementing data flows, modeling data, and interacting with the business. He also serves as a subject matter expert(SME) for dbt. His team primarily delivers statistics on sick leave throughout Norway, as well as some operational data.

Prior to this, Stig held several leadership roles in technology companies such as Asure AS, QlikTech Norway, Oracle Norway AS, Siebel Systems As, and Computer Associates. He has specialized in advanced analytics, such as machine learning and Big Data, and was a key figure in establishing Qlik in Norway.

Stig holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from BI and ESCP, ranked as the 5th best in the world, as well as an engineering degree in software development. He has also completed courses in Machine Learning from Stanford University and “Tackling the challenge of Big Data” from MIT.

Stig is known for his ability to coordinate and drive innovation. He has been a “torchbearer” for adopting new technology and methods, and has been a significant contributor to several successful projects. For example, the DNV Concert project, where he worked as a Technical Account Manager and advisor, was awarded the “CRM Excellence Award” by Gartner in 2010.

In his spare time, Stig Magne enjoys outdoor activities such as fly fishing in the summer and skiing in the winter.
