COVID-19 has forced a step change in the way that organisations work and communicate, with a large majority of our workforce now working remotely. This has led to a significant increase in the usage of Teams for collaboration which is fantastic - however, the next challenge is now how organisations continue to run their business. This includes engaging with employees through things like org-wide Town halls, running parliamentary debates, council meetings, committee and board meetings, webinars, lectures, announcements and more.
Teams live events are included by default within Teams for the majority of licencing levels, and provide a really effective platform to communicate broadly. For those not familiar with Teams this can be quite scary and I want to share with you some real world use-cases that I've supported customers and colleagues with, as well as some really practical steps that will help you run a successful live event.
By joining this session, you will learn some really practical tips which will help you with planning and preparation, rehearsals, the main event and then wrap up as well. This will include recommendations for how to get people confident and comfortable with producing and presenting events, contingency planning and really helpful best practice tips.
