After studying poetry and astrophysics at college, he belatedly realized that you can, in fact, get paid to develop software. His programming adventures have included industrial manufacturing and distribution (books and fridges with lasers, scales and RFID), digital signage, touch-screen kiosks, video games, data visualization and healthcare integration. A senior developer at HCA, he is currently focused on Elixir, a language from the future that is destined to create Skynet.

I started my career in lighting, video and audio engineering, where I quickly learned how deeply communication and technology are intertwined. Solid communication and strong collaboration make all the difference, not just in results, but also in joy at work.

Since 2012, I have been teaching communication and for the past five years I train teams and leaders to use communication as a tool to connect with each other and with (internal) clients. Since 2023 I started my own company: We Just Simplify.
I love helping BI teams close the gap between business and IT. It makes the work faster, smoother, and simply more fun. And the knowledge I gain along the way? I am passionate about sharing it with the world.

Lucas Marossi is an accomplished Game Designer who's also specialized in Level Design. Having experience at AAA games such as Hogwarts Legacy, and now at Indie studios such as Mad Mimic and No Heroes Here 2, his knowledge in Level Design makes him one of the best in the brazilian game industry.

Marossi also has background giving talks at universities in regards to Level Design, such as PUC-SP, Universidade Anhembi Morumbi and Belas Artes. He also has given lectures in post-graduate courses in Game Design such as Cruzeiro do Sul, making him an exceptional public speaker.
