After three years of teaching in the classroom, Mena made the bold leap into full-time entrepreneurship in 2017. These days, she blends her background in education with her creative skills to coach, photograph, and guide business owners as they build brands that actually sell.

With 8 years of experience as a branding and lifestyle photographer, Mena has worked with major names like Getty Images, Airbnb, Design Essentials, and the American Heart Association. She’s helped countless clients from boutique owners to political figures launch campaigns, boost their visibility, and confidently claim their space in their industries.

Her creative reach also extends into the education space, where she creates social media strategies and video content for institutions like Marian Middle School and Washington University, helping them tell authentic stories and stay connected with their communities online.

I bring a unique blend of business leadership and media experience. Earlier this year, I appeared on BBC’s The Apprentice, reaching Week 8 with five wins including one as Project Manager, and a feature in the final episode. Following the show, I was invited to share my story on BBC News, BBC Radio 5 live, BBC South East, Manoto (Persian TV), and across multiple radio stations including BBC Radio Sussex, V2 Radio, and Greatest Hits Radio. I’ve also been featured in publications such as Daily Mail, Metro, The Mirror, The Sun, Recruiter Magazine, and Yahoo News.

As a speaker, I’ve delivered talks at Spotify, NBC Universal, and the University of Brighton (I will have completed a TedX Talk by the time this event is coming up, as it’s booked for October) covering topics including entrepreneurship, women in business, diversity and inclusion, how men can be great advocates for women, working in a male dominating industry such as recruitment, how to start a business, career independence, and the evolving AI landscape. I also host SkillTorch Disrupt, a podcast spotlighting stories of leadership and innovation within the tech and AI space.

Raised by a single father in an immigrant Persian household, I’ve always been fiercely independent. From buying my first property at a young age and now having 3, moving to Southern California alone in my 20s, to launching a business that works with global tech leaders, my journey reflects resilience, adaptability, and a passion for impact.

Cori Lint is a versatile software engineer specializing in PHP and Python, with experience as a full-stack engineer, backend engineer, and web developer in the health tech and ecommerce industries. She began her tech journey as a software engineering fellow at Hackbright Academy, building on her academic foundation from the University of Michigan. Previously, Cori spent a decade in the classical music industry as a professional cellist and orchestra manager. Dr. Attila Kornel-Markula studierte Philosophie und Musikwissenschaft an der Universität Münster. Neben der Musikästhetik der Stille forscht er u. a. zum transkulturellen Austausch von Klangsynthese im 20./21. Jahrhundert. Als Musiker ist er mit vielfältiger Musikproduktion vertraut.
Von 2017-2020 war er als Studien- und ERASMUS-Koordinator mit einem Lehrauftrag für fachspezifische Analyse an der Musikhochschule Münster tätig. Von 2021 bis 2024 wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Universität Vechta (Zentrale Studienberatung) im Projekt ViBeS (Entwicklung innovativer Lehrkonzepte und Selbstlernmaterialien) sowie 2022 Lehrauftrag für Musikwissenschaft.

As Head of Software at Muse, I oversee and mentor teams responsible for our musical creation products, including MuseScore Studio, Audacity, Audio.com and MuseSounds. My responsibility is to ensure that our products grow to reach new audiences, providing free tools that compete with the best paid offerings on the market. It’s a role that requires a fine balance between big-picture strategic thinking and attention to the intricate details that make each product stand out.

My background is deeply rooted in product design for services used by millions of people. While at Microsoft, I led the design efforts for Paint 3D and applications for the Hololens AR headset. When I joined Muse, I became the product owner for MuseScore Studio, transforming it into the most popular notation application worldwide. I have also been running the popular audio editing application, Audacity for the last three years, focusing on significantly improving its capability and usability to make it a one-stop destination for podcasters and (eventually) musicians too. I am also experienced in effective product marketing and have produced numerous viral videos to promote Muse releases.

Outside of my professional responsibilities, I run a YouTube channel called 'Tantacrul', where I share my thoughts on music, technology, philosophy, and design. This platform allows me to connect with a broader audience, sharing insights and sparking discussions on subjects I'm passionate about. It’s a space where I can blend my personal interests with my professional expertise, engaging with a community that shares my enthusiasm for creativity and innovation.

I have a lot of experience working on open source products and collaborating in open source communities.

I have a degree in design from LSAD in Ireland and a master's degree in music composition from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

Gregor Doroschenko is a tech entrepreneur and founder of Hold My Code GmbH – a company providing tailored web and SaaS solutions, technology consulting, and modern AI-powered applications. The team works with a wide range of technologies including TypeScript, Angular, React, Vue, Svelte, NestJS, Node.js, and Go.

Before working in the Microsoft industry, Laura was working in the charity sector as a Project Assistant/Office 365 Specialist for 3 years and before that was in various support roles. She fully entered the Microsoft industry when accepting a job offer with HCL in Nov 2021. She then completed the CIT Program in March 2022, and it's been the most amazing ride of her life so far.

She loves all things creative, and Microsoft related and can't wait to see what the future holds. Laura spends her time outside of work, blogging about the Power Platform community and her journey in the hope to inspire and support others. She likes to merge her love of tech with her love of art & design, to try to bring even more fun to the topics and activities she presents to the community.
