Philip Neuman

Philip Neuman

Philip Neuman has led businesses for more than 30 years, focusing on patience, structure, and informed oversight. Based in New York, Philip is the founder of the Neuman Companies and serves as a managing director with experience in Asset-Based Finance, Fund Management, Merger & Acquisition, and complex financial structures.

Early in his career, he was drawn to financial disciplines that valued clarity and order over speed. He built a record of managing complex assignments that required operational leadership, detailed analysis, and coordination across legal, banking, and regulatory environments.

A significant chapter of his professional life centers on asset-backed and alternative investment structures. Working alongside leading global banks, he co-developed and managed long-term leverage facilities in the secondary market for risk transfer reinsurance. These arrangements required a precise understanding of actuarial exposure, capital efficiency, and regulatory compliance, as well as steady risk management across long horizons. His work in mergers & acquisitions reflected the same long-term perspective, focusing on durable value through aligned incentives, careful capital deployment, and structured governance.

In recent years, Philip Neuman Collectable has applied this institutional discipline to rare Scotch whisky through his firm, which provides financial structuring and consulting services within the Scotch whisky market. He works to introduce professional, regulated frameworks into a sector often shaped by private collectors. Unlike stocks or real estate, Scotch whisky derives its value from rarity, limited production, and time. As whisky matures in cask, supply gradually decreases due to evaporation and bottling, supporting long-term pricing for established distilleries.

Certain regulated alternative asset funds connected to this strategy operate across multiple European jurisdictions, and some have achieved annualized returns of over 20 percent over five years. He emphasizes compliance, investor education, and disciplined asset management, viewing these investments as complements to traditional portfolios. In New York, Philip Neuman continues to guide investors and institutions with a steady and structured approach.

Gregory Serdahl

Gregory Serdahl

Gregory Serdahl’s working life has unfolded through consistent effort, practical responsibility, and long-term engagement with people and organizations. His career reflects a measured progression across creative study, nonprofit leadership, and therapeutic wellness, rather than a narrow or accelerated path. By combining leadership roles with hands-on practice, he developed an approach rooted in experience, accountability, and sustained service.

Across multiple decades, Gregory has operated in environments that required both structure and personal involvement. His professional background includes managing nonprofit arts organizations and later founding and operating a national wellness company. These roles placed him in collaboration with professional athletes, institutional clients, and public figures. In each setting, he focused on reliability, ethical conduct, and systems designed to function effectively over time.

Gregory’s academic journey began at the University of California, Irvine, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater between 1983 and 1986. His studies emphasized collaboration, performance theory, and disciplined preparation. These academic foundations later supported his professional work by strengthening communication skills, observation, and awareness of physical presence. During this period, he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, reflecting his commitment to academic engagement and structured learning.

A formative experience during Gregory’s early development was a year spent abroad at the University of Bergen in Oslo, Norway (1983-84). Living and studying in an international environment exposed him to different cultural perspectives and daily practices. This period encouraged adaptability and independence, qualities that later influenced his leadership style and approach to professional relationships.

After completing his education, Gregory entered the nonprofit arts sector and became artistic director of the Alisal Center for the Fine Arts. The organization served a primarily Hispanic migrant farmworker community by providing access to cultural programs and educational opportunities. From January 1986 to January 1989, he was responsible for daily operations, budgeting, fundraising, and community engagement. This role strengthened his ability to lead mission-driven organizations while remaining responsive to the needs of underserved populations.

Gregory’s transition into wellness followed his participation in massage programs at Michael O'Shea's Sport Training Institute. In 1991, he founded Serdahl Associates, which later became Massage America, Ltd. His goal was to build a massage and wellness organization capable of operating within large institutional environments. Under his leadership, the company managed massage programs for Crunch Fitness, several New York Sports Club locations, and the New York Football Giants during the Dan Reeves era.

Massage America later partnered with Mount Sinai and NYU hospitals, the Printing House Athletic Club, and the Manhattan Athletic Club. Gregory oversaw staffing, operations, and service consistency across these settings. These responsibilities reinforced his understanding of how therapeutic services can be integrated into athletic, medical, and corporate systems while maintaining professional standards.

Alongside his role as a business owner, Gregory continued to work directly with clients. His practice included individuals from politics, professional sports, media, and the arts. On one notable day, his schedule included Ed Koch, Lawrence Taylor, Edgar Bronfman, Katharine Hepburn, and Arthur Ashe. These experiences reflected trust developed through discretion, technical skill, and steady practice.

Gregory’s therapeutic background includes deep tissue massage, Swedish techniques, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and craniosacral therapy. He also incorporates yoga, Pilates, Yogic Neuromuscular Therapy, as taught by the late Dyal Singh Khalsa, Gyrotonics training, and certification as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist. Having employed more than 500 massage therapists throughout his career, he remains actively engaged in his profession today, continuing his work with a focus on responsibility, long-term service, and honoring the teachings of the late Canadian Poet and Philosopher Kenneth George Mills through his role as President of the Kenneth G. Mills Foundation.

Charutha Bandara

Charutha Bandara

Charutha Bandara has built his professional journey through steady effort, careful thinking, and a strong sense of responsibility. Over more than a decade, he developed his career by working directly with real systems and real challenges, allowing experience to shape his decisions. His progress reflects patience and consistency, with growth emerging from hands-on work rather than shortcuts. This approach has guided his movement from technical roles into leadership and entrepreneurial responsibilities.

In the early part of his career, Charutha demonstrated a strong interest in understanding how complex systems operate in practical settings. Software engineering became the foundation for this interest, offering a structured way to approach real-world problems. Charutha D. Bandara worked across different technical environments, learning how to adapt while maintaining reliability and clarity. These early experiences helped him develop discipline, attention to detail, and an appreciation for clear communication when working with others.

As his experience grew, he began taking on responsibilities beyond direct development tasks. Bandara contributed to planning, system design, and long-term decision-making, which required a broader perspective. This shift encouraged him to think about sustainability, usability, and long-term impact rather than only immediate results. Balancing technical execution with thoughtful planning became a key part of his professional growth.

Over time, he moved into senior and executive-level roles, leading teams and managing priorities. These positions required steady judgment, accountability, and the ability to make clear decisions under pressure. His leadership style remained grounded in firsthand technical experience, helping him stay realistic and approachable. He emphasized preparation, consistency, and follow-through, building trust through actions rather than authority.

After many years in technology-focused roles, Charutha reached a point where he could pursue work more closely aligned with his personal interests. Motorcycles had long been an essential part of his life, offering balance outside professional responsibilities. Riding and maintaining performance machines reinforced values he already practiced in his work, including precision, patience, and respect for tools and process.

This personal interest eventually intersected with his professional background. Bandara recognized the importance of careful motorcycle transportation and applied his technical and operational mindset to help shape a service built around responsibility and experience. Systems were thoughtfully designed, and service standards reflected an understanding of what riders value when they trust others with their machines. Growth followed through reliability and consistency rather than speed.

Outside of professional work, Charutha D. Bandara maintains a creative interest in photography, focusing mainly on landscapes and automotive subjects. This outlet supports observation and balance, complementing his technical discipline. Across engineering, leadership, entrepreneurship, and creative pursuits, Charutha Bandara continues to focus on steady improvement, clear thinking, and work shaped by experience, care, and long-term commitment.
