Andrew Schoka is a former U.S. Army Cyber Warfare Officer and is currently a graduate student at the University of Virginia. He served in a variety of offensive cyber operations assignments with the 2020 and 2022 Election Security Group at U.S. Cyber Command, and later with U.S. Special Operations Command. Andrew is the co-founder of an election cybersecurity startup and teaches a graduate course on cybersecurity at the University of Virginia School of Engineering. He holds a bachelor's degree in systems engineering from Virginia Tech, a master's degree in cybersecurity from Georgia Tech, and a number of industry security certifications.
