Michael Willers entwirft und entwickelt seit 1989 Software. Er war einige Jahre Berater bei Microsoft und dort verantwortlich für die technische Einführung der .NET Plattform in Deutschland. Für das Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI) hat er u. a. Leitfäden und Expertisen zur Sicherheit der .NET Plattform konzipiert und umgesetzt. Michael Willers lebt in Würselen bei Aachen und Weingarten bei Karlsruhe.
