My interests in doing sports developed through the years from swimming latchkey kid to judoka, rowing, basketball and athletics to windsurfing, parachute jumping to jogging with our dog.
The schooling careere started in primary school in my home town Schönebeck (Elbe) at the POS Karl-Liebknecht , followed by high schools there Gymnasium in Malzmühlenfeld with a detour via the Turner High School in Montana back to the high school for graduation withe the German Abitur.

Her efforts have connected over 1,200 attendees, 40% of whom come from outside the traditional Drupal ecosystem, proving the demand for cross-functional gatherings that highlight Drupal’s evolving relevance across industries.

At Evolving Web, Maya serves as Lead of Community & Employee Experience, where she blends strategy and empathy to shape both external engagement and internal culture. She manages the content and marketing team, leads the agency’s presence at industry conferences, oversees community partnerships, and ensures a seamless employee journey—from onboarding and workplace well-being to office operations and HR support. Originally from Germany, Maya holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from NHL Stenden University in the Netherlands. After 10+ years in the corporate space and with the invaluable support of her two sisters, in 2013 Astrid Daniela founded Accounting Specialists and Business Solutions, LLC.
