She has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland an Associate of Applied Science in Safety from the Community College of the Air Force, and holds numerous industry specific certifications and is a recipient of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Awad.
Von considers her greatest achievement is when she is serving others, as an ordained minister and especially as an advocate for female Veterans and domestic violence. Her non-profit; Joy Restored Outreach, LLC; has a direct-desired vision to offer unique service opportunities for unhoused female Veterans with children.
