During his tenure, he progressed through a variety of senior financial leadership positions, gaining extensive experience in accounting and controls, operational finance, controllership, business partnership, strategy, and overall financial management. His work consistently produced strong results, supported by expertise in strategic and financial planning, risk management, financial controls, process improvement, mentoring, US GAAP accounting, cost optimization, valuations, modeling, and revenue management.

He joined the company in 2004 as a Director and was later promoted to Vice President of Global Accounting. In that role, he oversaw the global consolidated accounting close for the $3.6 billion publicly traded business, reducing the close process by eight days while enhancing reporting quality and strengthening internal controls. He developed global cash flow reporting processes, shortened preparation time by 10 days, and streamlined multi-currency statement consolidation. His responsibilities included conducting in-depth accounting research on complex transactions, leading purchase price allocations for billion-dollar acquisitions, creating global accounting policies, centralizing intercompany transactions, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP for both domestic and international operations. Doudou BA is Senegalese, Founder and CEO of OneNine, a Swedish Startup focused on AI data infrastructure for low-resource (African) languages, supplying training data to AI tier labs such as OpenAI, Google, Meta, Anthropic... His vision: make AI truly global so anyone can communicate with technology in their native language.
He also serves as Operations Research Scientist at A.P. Moller-Maersk, building intelligent systems across 200+ countries.
