Lurdes Martins is a Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu, where she teaches and English in the Bachelor of Tourism and the Technical Course of Wine Tourism. She is currently the coordinator of the Wine Tourism course. Between 2012 and 2018, she coordinated Erasmus + mobility in the Management Department and was co-responsible for the creation of 3 International Semesters aimed at Erasmus students. She has been part of virtual exchange projects since 2014. Since then she has collaborated in the planning and implementation of virtual exchange projects with Germany, the USA, Canada, Ghana, Kenya, Italy and France. The participation in these projects has allowed participation in international conferences and some publications. She has Postgraduate Education in Multimedia in Education and has developed a PhD thesis in the area of Web 2.0 technologies in foreign language learning.
Her research interests focus on virtual exchange, international project planning and management, and languages for specific purposes.

Mike and family have run Crystal River Watersports (CRWS) since 2014 with a motto of “Observing and Preserving Nature Above, In and Underwater.” CRWS allows guests to explore Florida’s Nature coast via scuba diving, swimming with manatees, scalloping, and river cruises.
Professionally, Mike graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with degrees in business and pursued a career in information technology consulting before migrating from the DC suburbs to Citrus County, FL. The goal was to be able enjoy working with people in the hospitality industry while sharing a love of the outdoors, especially scuba diving.
Since moving to Florida, Mike has gotten involved in the local community by previously serving on the Crystal River Waterfront Advisory Board, Manatee Eco Tourism Assoc. and Friends of the Crystal River National WIldlife Refuge. Dr. Daniels-Osaze is the Associate Dean for Education and a Clinical Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management in the School of Public Health at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. She specializes in developing pathway programs that diversify the health professions and focus on the reduction of health disparities in health care. Dr. Daniels-Osaze has a successful track record of receiving extramural grants which have generated $12.6 million in total revenue for SUNY Downstate. She is the contact PI for the Downstate Public Health Scholarship Program (DPHSP) and the Health Careers Opportunity Program (HCOP) and the Co-PI for the Downstate Center of Excellence for Diversity and Equity in Medicine sponsored by the Health Research and Services Administration (HRSA). She is also the contact PI for the Downstate Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP) sponsored by the New York State Education Department (NYSED).

Dr. Daniels-Osaze earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University in Linguistics and Cognitive Studies, her Master of Arts degree from New York University in Higher Education Administration, a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management, and her Doctor of Education from Northeastern University. Dr. Daniels-Osaze is also a proud alumna of the MPH program at SUNY Downstate and a Lenard and Christine Szarek fellowship recipient. Her interest is in Health Policy and Management with a particular focus on health equity, leadership and administration of public health systems.

As Associate Dean for Education, her role is to facilitate all curriculum development and modifications, accreditation activities, program evaluation and quality improvement. In her faculty role in the Department of Health Policy and Management, she teaches master's and doctoral level courses in leadership, management, grant writing, strategic planning and marketing. She is also passionate about international education and healthcare and serves as a Queen Mother (Nkatasiahene) of Moree in the Cape Coast region of Ghana. She has publish multiple articles and book chapters.

Dr. Daniels-Osaze is the former president of the National Association of Medical Minority Educators (NAMME), an organization dedicated to improving the overall health status of racial and ethnic populations. She currently serves as a Senator for the SUNY University Faculty Senate (UFS).
