Currently serving as the Director of Strategy & Innovation at Altura Technologies in Denver, Colorado, Morgan is recognized for combining cutting-edge technology with human-centered design to help organizations adapt and thrive in today’s fast-paced world.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Morgan R. Callahan developed an early passion for systems thinking, leadership, and policy. After graduating from Lincoln High School’s International Baccalaureate program, Morgan attended the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Business Economics in 2006. During her undergraduate years, Morgan’s interest in change management grew as she took on internships with think tanks and became actively involved in student government.

Morgan went on to earn an MBA in Strategic Management and Organizational Innovation from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2013. As part of the program, she worked on consultancy projects for multinational clients and completed an exchange program at IE Business School in Madrid, gaining valuable insights into global business.

Her career began in 2006 at Accenture, where she worked as a Business Analyst in the Strategy and Operations division. Based in Seattle, Morgan focused on optimization projects for global clients in the consumer goods and telecommunications industries, developing skills in data visualization, financial modeling, and stakeholder engagement. These early experiences laid the groundwork for Morgan’s leadership path.

In 2009, Morgan transitioned to Teach For America as Director of Strategic Partnerships, where she contributed to expanding teacher placement in underserved districts in California. This role marked the beginning of her journey into socially driven leadership.

Morgan’s MBA years further broadened her expertise. She interned at The World Bank and researched small enterprise development in Latin America. This international experience strengthened her ability to navigate cross-cultural business dynamics.

In 2013, Morgan joined SunGrid Renewables, a solar energy startup in San Diego. As Senior Strategy Manager, Morgan led regional expansion initiatives and played a pivotal role in the company’s growth. In 2016, Morgan was promoted to Vice President of Business Development, overseeing a $12 million acquisition and driving innovation in energy storage. Under Morgan’s leadership, SunGrid doubled its installation capacity and expanded its footprint in the American Southwest, collaborating with municipal partners on solar-plus-storage infrastructure.

She joined Altura Technologies in 2019 as Director of Strategy & Innovation. At Altura, Morgan leads digital transformation initiatives, guiding clients through innovation pipelines using artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data-driven decision-making. A key achievement has been the development of the Innovation Maturity Index, which is now used company-wide to assess strategic readiness. Morgan also heads Altura’s Equity in Innovation Taskforce, ensuring that diversity, equity, and inclusion are embedded in product development and hiring practices.

Outside of her work at Altura, Morgan serves as an active board member of Catalyst Colorado, where she mentors underrepresented founders of startups. She also provides guidance through Built By Girls, Techstars, and Women Who Code. Additionally, Morgan is a contributor to industry publications like Harvard Business Review, TechCrunch, and Quartz, and frequently speaks at events like SXSW, Dreamforce, and the Aspen Ideas Festival.

Callahan's contributions to technology and innovation have earned her numerous accolades, including being named one of the Top 100 Tech Innovators by Green Tech Journal in 2018, receiving the Emerging Leader Award at the Women in Strategy Conference in 2020, and being recognized as part of the 40 Under 40 list by the Denver Business Journal in 2021.

Morgan now resides in Denver, where she enjoys the balance of city life and the outdoors. She shares her home with her partner, Alexis, an environmental journalist, and their rescue dog, Lilo. Outside of work, Morgan enjoys trail running, watercolor painting, and attending outdoor film festivals. She is an advocate for increased broadband access in rural Colorado and participates in discussions on tech and education equity.

Morgan Callahan is driven by ethical innovation, collaborative leadership, and a commitment to long-term impact. Whether working with multinational corporations or mentoring emerging entrepreneurs, Morgan remains focused on integrity, empathy, and clarity. In the future, Morgan hopes to further integrate climate-forward strategies into corporate innovation models and launch an independent think tank dedicated to sustainable economic design.

You need a speaker who doesn’t just hold attention-but electrifies a room. That’s me. I’m Karis Gill, multi–award-winning founder, storytelling strategies, and the go-to speaker for businesses ready to harness the neuroscience of storytelling to drive real action.

With over 100 high-impact workshops and keynotes delivered across industries, I bring high energy, sharp humour, and strategies that stick. My sessions are known for getting audiences laughing, scribbling furious notes, and walking away saying: “Why has no one taught us this before?”

Because no one teaches you how to sell, lead, or pitch through story. That’s where I come in. I show you the neuroscience and how the brain is wired for story, why decision-makers buy with emotion, not logic- and how to craft business stories that move people. This isn’t fluffy theory. It’s science-backed storytelling that gives your team an unfair advantage.

As a founder, I’ve generated multi–seven-figure revenues over the last 5 years, using the exact storytelling principles I now teach. Whether I’m delivering a keynote to thousands or running an intimate workshop for your team, my goal is the same: to make you better at storytelling than 99% of people you’ll ever meet.

Adrian Alexander of New York, born in Bucharest, Romania, in 1946, emigrated to the United States in 1964 after completing high school. Holding dual U.S. and Italian citizenships, his early days in America were marked by adversity; his father passed away just six months after their arrival. He rose to the challenge, supporting his mother while pursuing his education. He earned a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from NYU Engineering School in 1970 and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1972.

His academic excellence during these challenging times set the stage for his successful career. He began in investment banking, recruited by Morgan Stanley & Co. from Harvard, where he worked for three years before moving to Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb as VP of Mergers and Acquisitions.

In 1978, his career took him to Milan, Italy, where he worked for the executive search firm Egon Zehnder, recruiting executives for multinational clients until 1983. He spent most of the subsequent decades working in Italy, reflecting his deep ties and commitment to his European origins.

Upon returning to the U.S., he demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by acquiring and revitalizing Minneapolis Sport, a struggling sporting goods store franchise, which he successfully sold to its franchisees. His knack for transformation was further evidenced from 1987 to 1990 when he joined Polly Peck International, Plc as Vice President of Acquisitions, notably acquiring Del Monte Fresh Fruit Company and developing the company’s strategy in Eastern Europe.

He continued to leverage his extensive experience by advising a regional corporate stationer from 1991 to 1994, guiding it to become a $2 billion multinational office products distributor. Subsequently, he served as the principal of a boutique investment bank, specializing in emerging healthcare companies and securing crucial venture capital investments.

In 1996, he founded the Phoenix Real Estate Fund in New York, acquiring and managing over 200 properties before selling the fund at the end of 1999. He then established Technology Seed Capital in 2000, an early-stage venture capital fund that supported technology startups for three years.

His innovative approach to business continued with his partnership with Limores.net, a pioneering online platform for ground transportation, from 2004 to 2006. He also managed an imaging center in Astoria, New York, from 2006 to 2014, which he successfully turned around and sold.

In 2010, he founded Health Settlement, LLC, a lender for personal injury cases, eventually partnering with U.S. Claims, a Blackstone company, in 2014.

On a personal note, Adrian Alexander is a dedicated family man. He celebrates significant anniversaries and milestones with his wife and children. He also enjoys the strategic complexities of chess and poker, where he applies his analytical skills and strategic thinking.
