Margareth Gonzalez

Margareth Gonzalez

Capital Variation was founded in October 2019 in London-United Kingdom by Margareth Gonzalez a 31-year-old entrepreneur, born in Bogota-Colombia, raised between Latin America, the United States, and Europe. In her early years, Margareth and her family lived in a very difficult environment due to the point where they had to emigrate to the United States to be safe and start over a new life far away from the conflicts and violence that ruled Colombia in the 90’s.

Margareth lived some of her middle school years influenced by the South and American culture and the vision to acquire international education. She saw infinite possibilities that could not be possible in her hometown Colombia and once she lived in the relative freedom of The United States, she knew she wanted to change some memories, re-write her story and inspire others no matter what their history might be.

Margareth speaks #Spanish, #English, and #German fluently. She studied marketing and hospitality management in Spain, foreign languages in Germany, and #Business in #London, having worked for numerous companies she developed knowledge in the world of finance, particularly in Industries such as #infrastructure, #realestate , #privateequity, #healthcare, #technology, and #ESG #investing.

Margareth's passion for traveling and global sustainable finances inspired her to create the vision and conceptualize #CapitalVariation, a #Start-up investment consultancy company that she considers her baby. She has curated it with the sole purpose of identifying potential projects that focus on (ESG) #environmental, her purpose is to impact finance leaders and increase awareness in the world of ESG investments.

Capital Variation’s why is to partner with C-level leaders who solve the world’s biggest challenges and are passionate about providing a solution to inequalities, bringing light to those entrepreneurs who thrive for positive change and impact in today's world.

She works with several business partners in #Colombia, the #UnitedStates, #Europe, #TheMiddleEast, and #Asia, all with a strong track record in the world of financial services, often she finds in them not only business partners but mentors, true friends, and visionaries.

She finds herself at a point in her life where she sees the results of her hard work, and this is her time to help inspire others to find their inner power, Margareth is a responsible, optimistic, loyal, and compassionate woman who stands committed to inspiring and empowering young girls and female #entrepreneurs along with communities whom #emigrate and create a better future for their families and themselves.

The values which have been guiding her life are integrity, humility, and respect.

I lead the business team at Stabiliti - tracing carbon back to its roots. Our goal is to create trust and transparency in carbon offsets in order to incentivise more businesses and individuals to buy them. This is the lead domino that will lead to more farmers and landowners planting carbon capturing natural assets. This will increase supply and allow more businesses to offset completely - reducing the amount of carbon entering our atmosphere and ultimately going beyond and removing more than we are producing.

In order for this to happen at scale we are working with international businesses and projects, in domains such as infrastructure construction and global payments, to assist them with their carbon emission mapping and data collection. Once the source data is confirmed as accurate we then enable them to offset by choosing carbon capture projects that are relevant to their activities and locality.

Our unique proprietary technology, CarbonTrack, is able to fractionalise carbon offsets from the typical tonne measurement and go down to the femtogram. The ability to offset micro amounts of carbon emissions means we can price competitively and share the proceeds with our business partners, further incentivising them beyond compliance with emissions targets, by creating a new revenue stream.

This micro-offsetting is particularly relevant for transaction based business models such as payments, ticketing and any company where the majority of their emissions come from computer use.

My background is as an English lawyer specialising in blockchain technology.

I believe that we can create products and services that make the world a better place. And that we can learn and grow in the process of doing so. Our challenge is that we waste time and money and human energy on untested ideas that, too often, turn out to be something that the customer does not want. Or, if we have an idea that is really good, we get in our own way by not executing it well, by not being able to communicate, inspire, and empower our collaborators and stakeholders as we must in order to do the impossible: launch and grow good ideas that the world needs, fostering sustainable and ethical growth.

I work to solve that.

Ahlam Ansari has spent 17 years asking an uncomfortable question: Why do organizations trust AI systems they cannot explain? That question drives everything she does—from her PhD research in trustworthy and responsible AI to her work training professionals who have inherited AI tools they did not choose and do not fully understand. She is a member of MIT's Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) and a Google Certified Educator, and her practice sits at the intersection of Explainable AI, data governance, and the kind of privacy-preserving design that actually holds up under GDPR scrutiny. Over 17 years she has moved between academia and applied technology—mentoring award-winning innovation teams, leading digital transformation efforts, and building methodologies for auditing AI outputs and tracing how automated decisions get made. The technical work matters, but what she is really doing is helping people stop taking AI on faith. Her sessions don't offer hype. They offer frameworks educators and leaders can use the week they return to school—grounded in research, tested in practice, and built around one belief: that AI is only as trustworthy as the people who understand it.
