I graduated from San Jose State University with a Master's in Communication Studies, during which I focused my thesis on Cancer Prognostic Conversations between Latino(a) patients and their healthcare providers. This research deepened my understanding of the disparities in health communication and further ignited my passion for advocating for underrepresented communities. I continue to conduct research supporting diverse populations in healthcare.

Throughout my career, I have successfully designed and implemented initiatives promoting diversity and creating a sense of employee belonging. I believe that a strong company culture not only enhances employee satisfaction but also drives innovation and productivity. My experience includes leading workshops, organizing community outreach programs, and collaborating with various stakeholders to build systems that uplift marginalized voices.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring different cultures through travel, engaging in community events, and spending time with family and friends. Dieter Uckelmann

Dieter Uckelmann ist Professor für Informationslogistik und wissenschaftlicher Direktor des Instituts für Angewandte Forschung an der HFT Stuttgart. Seine Forschungstätigkeiten fokussieren zum einen Anwendungen im Internet der Dinge in den Bereichen Industrie 4.0, Logistik, Smart Building und Smart City, sowie zum anderen entsprechende didaktische Fragestellungen. Er ist Mitherausgeber des „International Journal of RF-Technologies: Research and Applications“. Von 2005 bis Anfang 2012 leitete er als Geschäftsführer das LogDynamics Lab an der Universität Bremen. Vor seiner akademischen Karriere war er als Geschäftsführer in mehreren Unternehmen der IuK-Branche tätig.
