Dr. Jeremy Schenk is the Associate Vice President for Operations and Services in the Division of Student Affairs at Northwestern University. Jeremy oversees Student Affairs Administration and Finance, Assessment and Planning, the Norris University Center, Division Services (including Marketing, Dining, IT, Special Projects, and Safe Ride), division vendor contracts, and division facilities. He received a bachelor’s in social work, master’s in education administration and foundation, and his doctorate in educational leadership and policy analysis. Fung launched the Digital Culture Project in the Fire Department in Panama, founded the Panama Java User Group, developed differents Database for the Fire Department in Panama and different software and tools for Education in Panama.

Fung was one of the Instructors for the MuNET Project wth the AIG in Panama and the University of Panama with create new tools for the Project. With this, he also launched the free software movement in Herrera. He has been the ASPASOL and Panama Java User project's activist and organizer, he founded the Free Software Movement in Herrera.

In 2007, Fung has spent most of his time advocating for free software and Open Source Initiative.

As of 2015, Fung is Professor in UMECIT, one of the best Universities in Panama. And others Universities, Schools and High School. Fung have differents occupations: Systems Engineering, Professor for all the areas for IT and English, Activist, Poet, Singer-Songwritter for Guama Project, Fireman and Business Development Manager. Now, Jose Fung, is reasearcher and Professor in the University of Panama, and collaborate in Proyects about Information Tecnologies and Biology, with differents reasearchers of the University of Panama, in Azuero.

Jose Rogelio Fung, is the Foundator of Scientific Research Centre Shen Kuo, in the University of Panama, CRUA.

In 2020, José Rogelio Fung, has a leader in the Digital Transformation for the University of Panama, CRUA, support to 3,500 students and more than 300 professor and Scientific Researchers. The implementation of more than 6 Software Download Centre and new information technologies for Learning for more than 10 knowledge areas, 12 faculty and differents School.
