Dr. Edwin Mathieu is a higher education leader and scholar committed to advancing opportunity, access, and belonging across campus communities. He earned his Doctor of Education in Leadership and Administration in Higher Education from St. John's University, a Master's in History and Latin American and Caribbean Studies from the City College of New York, and a Bachelor's in Africana Studies and Communication Arts from New York University.

As a professor, Dr. Mathieu has taught courses in African American history, U.S. history, and world civilizations. He is passionate about mentoring students and integrating technology to foster inclusive, culturally responsive learning environments.
