Betta Lyon Delsordo began her cyber journey at the age of 13 when she started teaching herself to code. This grew into freelance web development work for small businesses in Montana, where she soon realized she needed to know more about application security to keep her clients safe. She began learning more about secure coding and interned with a hacking firm, and realized she was pretty good at it. After completing a Master's in Cybersecurity at Georgia Tech, obtaining certifications such as the GPEN, and working her way up through pentesting, Betta is now working as a Lead Application Penetration Tester at OnDefend. Her areas of expertise include application security, secure code review, cloud security, and AI hacking. She has also built several AI tools for her employers to improve process such as secure code review and threat intelligence insights. Caitlin has recently been awarded a PhD for her thesis on "Using Clean Language Interviewing to Model Curriculum Design in Higher Education: Curriculum Design is Like What?"
Over the last 25 years Caitlin has worked with individual systems as well as systems of individuals supporting diverse parts to pay exquisite attention to themselves and to one another to create deep, sustainable systemic changes. With 15 years of experience at Baylor University, Jordy Dickey currently serves as the Director of Student Activities. Her involvement with ACUI began in 2016 when she became the Web & Social Media Coordinator for Region II, a role she held until 2018. Since then, she has taken on several leadership roles, including Ed Session Co-Chair for the 2020 Atlanta Conference Program Team (2017–2020), Co-Leader for the Sustainability Community of Practice (2019–2021), and Board of Trustees At-Large Member (2020–2022).
