Andrew MacLean

Andrew MacLean

Andrew is equal parts tech enthusiast, educator, and the kind of person who can’t resist pressing buttons just to see what happens (sometimes even twice). A former classroom teacher with nearly a decade of experience crafting learning experiences for techies of all ages, he traded chalkboards for the keyboards of the tech industry in 2020 and hasn’t looked back. Since then, he’s worn many hats—Community Manager, Developer Advocate, and now Developer Educator at Twilio—where he helps developers connect the dots between imagination and implementation. When he’s not building (or breaking ) things with tech, you’ll find Andrew soaking up the west coast vibes on Vancouver Island, Canada—where he tries (and often fails) to look outdoorsy.

Khadyajah Jenkins, M.A.T

Khadyajah Jenkins, M.A.T is a scholar-practitioner, cultural strategist, and doctoral candidate whose work examines the future of education, leadership, and relational labor in the age of artificial intelligence. Her research centers African-American executives and early-career professionals to understand how cultural conformity, emotional expression, respectability politics, and algorithmic bias shape leadership trajectories and mentorship opportunities in tech and media ecosystems. Through narrative inquiry and critical pedagogy, Jenkins studies how care, love, and cultural memory can serve as legitimate frameworks for leadership development and equitable system design.

Positioned at the intersection of higher education, innovation, and community infrastructure, Jenkins develops programs and pilots that translate academic knowledge into workforce outcomes. Her initiatives include college and career advising systems, city-aligned book fairs and literacy programs, AI literacy pathways for students and families, and archival storytelling series that reframe education as a cultural, relational, and economic project. Her platforms span LinkedIn, TikTok, Substack, and Patreon, where she produces research-informed content on education equity, postsecondary transitions, hidden industries, and love as a leadership practice.

Jenkins partners with civic, philanthropic, and educational stakeholders to design models that increase economic mobility, expand access to labor market information, and prepare communities for AI-mediated professional environments. Her work emphasizes that the future of work requires both technical and emotional infrastructure: knowledge, skills, networks, and care.

Her long-term vision is to build a research and learning firm with three pillars education, leadership , and economic justice—that integrates archival research, AI-enabled instructional design, and culturally situated learning systems. Through this interdisciplinary lens, she aims to reimagine how communities learn, lead, and love, and to create academic, civic, and digital ecosystems where Black intellectual and emotional labor are centered rather than extracted.

"Alec is a fantastic speaker. I’ve worked with him since 2019, when he led LinkedIn’s Mindfulness & Compassion workshops in Europe. Alec consistently receives rave reviews from audiences in the US and Europe for his events." - Scott Shute, Award-Winning Author & Speaker & Former LinkedIn Global VP

"Alec is a fantastic facilitator and joy to work with! He gracefully translates personal experience into engaging and meaningful workshops." - Jennifer Leslie, SVP @ PSL Group

"Alec has a gift as a healer and coach. I am profoundly grateful for his help." - George Hoffmann, Kona Ironman Triathlete & Marketing Director @Medable

ABOUT ME: At age 18, I was a semi-pro cyclist diagnosed with a ruptured spinal disc.

Over two years, severe back pain ended my cycling career, pulled me out of college, left me partially bedridden, on strong painkillers, depressed, and with suicidal thoughts.

I tried every treatment I could find, but still endured constant pain - my recovery was uncertain.

Thankfully, I've been pain-free and unrestricted for over a decade.

Yet here's the thing: That ruptured spinal disc is still visible on my MRI.

The pain wasn’t 'all in my head.' It was real, severe, and in my body.

But the problem wasn't my disc. And the solution wasn't to fix it.

I’m not alone, either. More people are learning that some of the best athletes in the world with nagging injuries and structural abnormalities like bulging discs, torn meniscuses, and torn rotator cuffs have become pain-free without fixing their bodies.

I'm an Injury Comeback Coach, and I demystify how to do this for my clients and my audiences, empowering them to break through pain and injury, perform with a competitive advantage, and feel like themselves again.

I've trained with renowned chronic pain specialists, sports medicine physicians, and psychologists from Cedars Sinai, Michigan State, and Wayne State.

I've helped Kona triathletes, state champion cyclists, marathon runners, actors, American Ninja Warriors, and those who just want to enjoy movement again get back to their favorite activities in the face of scary injuries and persistent pain.

I've travelled around the world to present for the better part of a decade - from San Francisco, to Dublin, and Paris to Hong Kong. I've shared my story with organizations all over the world such as Airbnb, Coca-Cola, Medable, PSL Group, Esusu and LinkedIn, been featured on over a dozen podcasts, written for publications like RealGM, and co-authored the 2024 Best-Selling Book Leading with Self-Awareness.

Seeing so many people who thought they’d never recover make amazing comebacks has revealed an unshakable truth: Your biggest setback can become your greatest comeback.

Bishop Elias Lorenzo

Bishop Elias Lorenzo

Bishop Elias Lorenzo was born in Brooklyn in October 1960 and raised in Sunset Park, where he attended a parish elementary school that helped shape his early understanding of faith, learning, and community life. Growing up in this environment taught him the value of steady routines, careful study, and a sense of responsibility toward others. These early influences encouraged him to develop habits that supported personal growth and service. Over time, the lessons he gained in childhood guided him toward a vocation centered on humility, dedication, and a willingness to learn at every stage.

Bishop Elias continued his education at a Catholic college, where he completed a degree in philosophy before entering a Benedictine monastery to begin religious life. When he professed vows in the mid-1980s, he embraced the rhythm of prayer, work, and community that shapes monastic living. He was later ordained a priest, taking on responsibilities that required thoughtful attention to both spiritual and practical needs. Through these early years, he grew in his understanding of how patient listening and steady guidance foster trust and support within a faith community.

Lorenzo began his ministry as a teacher at a secondary school connected to his monastery. He taught religion, helped organize retreats, and supported students through service programs that encouraged them to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. His work placed him in direct contact with young people, helping him understand their hopes and challenges. As his responsibilities expanded, he also collaborated with administrators and the school’s board. Despite these added tasks, he continued teaching because he believed meaningful leadership begins with personal engagement.

Bishop Elias Lorenzo deepened his ministry through advanced academic studies. He completed graduate work in liturgical theology, gaining insight into how worship nurtures community life and shapes shared experiences of faith. He later pursued studies in counseling, learning practical ways to support individuals facing emotional and personal difficulties. He then completed formal studies in canon law, preparing him to help religious communities navigate governance and pastoral care matters. These combined disciplines strengthened his ability to serve consistently, clearly, and with understanding.

Bishop Elias accepted leadership roles within monastic communities in the United States and abroad. He first served as prior at his home abbey before assuming the same position at an international Benedictine community in Rome. There, he worked with members from many nations, gaining experience in cross-cultural cooperation across diverse environments. He later represented monastic communities in matters requiring communication with the Vatican. These responsibilities broadened his awareness of global religious life and strengthened his appreciation for the varied needs of communities worldwide.

Lorenzo contributed to international Benedictine education by supporting programs that enhanced academic formation and spiritual development in schools across several continents. His background as a teacher helped him connect easily with educators, students, and administrators. In addition to his educational involvement, he participated in humanitarian medical missions in several countries, supporting teams and providing assistance as needed. These experiences reinforced his belief that service thrives when approached with openness, humility, and respect for different cultures.

Bishop Elias R Lorenzo remained committed to promoting safe environments and responsible structures within religious and educational settings. He worked with organizations focused on protecting vulnerable individuals and establishing procedures that encourage transparency and accountability. He also served in diocesan roles requiring thoughtful communication with clergy, religious communities, and laypeople. Through this work, he became known for his steady approach to addressing concerns and his dedication to building trust within institutions.

Bishop Lorenzo was appointed an auxiliary bishop in 2020 and later received episcopal consecration in the cathedral of his archdiocese. In this role, he serves a large county, supporting parishes, pastoral programs, administrative needs, and canonical matters. His daily responsibilities require careful judgment, clear communication, and a willingness to understand the situations of diverse communities. He continues to approach these duties with humility, seeking to guide and support others through steady and thoughtful service.

Bishop Elias Lorenzo offers an example of leadership formed through gradual growth, quiet dedication, and consistent commitment. His life reflects how meaningful influence develops not through sudden recognition but through the accumulation of small, faithful actions. Those who know his journey often observe his attentive manner and his readiness to serve wherever needed. His path encourages others to see that lasting contributions arise from patience, integrity, and a sincere desire to support others' well-being.

I’ve always believed that real change starts from the ground up. The problems we see around us—children deprived of education, youth struggling for opportunities, voices going unheard—won’t fix themselves. If we don’t step up, who will?

I still remember the evening that changed something in me. I was in 6th grade, out for dinner with my family, when I saw a boy—probably even younger than me—cleaning tables, picking up leftover food from the ground, and later, washing dishes in the open in chilling winter, all by himself. I just...didn't really knew at that time that this is also something that happens in this world. We were both just kids, but our worlds couldn’t have been more different. I was sitting comfortably with my family, talking about school and dreams, while he was working late into the night, carrying a weight no child should have to bear.

That night, I couldn’t shake the thought—why is life so unfair for some? And more importantly, why do we just accept it as normal? I had always been drawn to debates and discussions about India’s future, but that was the moment I knew—I want to do something real. Not just talk, but act. So that kids like him get the education they deserve, the life they deserve. Because this? This is not the India our freedom fighters fought for.

Today, I’m on a journey to understand problems at their root and work towards real solutions. Whether it’s through policy making, leadership, or on-the-ground activism, I want to play my part in shaping an India where no child is left behind, and every young person has a chance to thrive.

I’m always open to discussions, opportunities, and collaborations that align with this vision. If you share the same fire for policy, governance, youth activism, or leadership, let’s connect and build something meaningful together.

Tim Huff

Tim Huff

Tim Huff is a decorated combat veteran, certified executive coach, and award-winning CEO recognized for servant leadership and character. A graduate of the U.S. Army’s Ranger School, Tim served 14 years as an Infantry Officer, culminating in a year-long deployment to Afghanistan with the US Army National Guard as Chief of Operations for a brigade responsible for training and sustaining the Afghan National Army. For his leadership in combat, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.

After active military service, Tim made what he calls his ‘most extreme transition’… from command of over a dozen tanks and leading 100 troops, and a few months later, to a cubicle at The Walt Disney Company, managing spreadsheets. That moment reinforced in him that genuine leadership isn’t tied to uniforms, titles, or settings. It’s about character: the one constant that endures when pressure mounts. He later advanced in technology leadership roles with Macy’s, CRH Americas, and Owens & Minor, but his life took another defining turn in 2017 when he became the client of an executive coach. The experience gave him a profound sense of leadership freedom and clarity and set him on a new mission: to help leaders everywhere discover the same success based in character.

Today, Tim is the President & CEO of Turknett Leadership Group, a 38-year-old Atlanta-based firm trusted by Fortune 500 companies and global organizations. He is a Titan 100 honoree and recipient of the Servant Leader of the Year Award, recognized for his commitment to building leaders who live and lead with integrity, respect, and responsibility. In 2024, he extended that commitment in the most personal way, by donating a kidney to help save the life of a colleague.

Tim’s message is clear: skills can be taught, strategies can shift, but character is the bedrock of leadership. Whether on the battlefield, in the boardroom, or at the side of someone in need, it’s character that inspires trust, courage, and authentic leadership.

He lives in Cumming, Georgia with his wife, Kristin, and enjoys hiking in the North Georgia mountains where he finds both rest and renewal for his life of service!
